Slack

Slack connects teams and people to the information they need. Bild has built an integration with Slack where users have the option to be notified of any Bild project activity within a specific Slack workspace and channel.

Install the integration

Step 1: Within a project, navigate to the Project Settings

Step 2: Click on Integrations

Step 3: Under Integrations, select Connect for the Slack option

Step 4: Sign into your Slack workspace and select a channel where Bild can post. You can select a channel with multiple people (they will all see the notifications) or select to just notify yourself. Click Allow. *Note: If you don't see a list of your channels in the dropdown at first, try refreshing.

Step 5: Navigate to Slack and to the channel you provided Bild access to. You should see a notification like below. Now you're ready to go!

Step 6: Here is an example of what the Bild integration looks like in Slack.

*Note: The Slack integration is currently one directional meaning that you are notified of changes in Bild in Slack but you cannot update content in Bild through Slack. The Slack integration is unique to each account so only you can see which channel the project is integrated with on Bild. But if you integrate Slack with a channel with your team members, they will all see notifications within the channel.
