Google Drive

Google Drive is a versatile platform where teams of developers (software, firmware, and hardware) come together to manage files. When you connect Google Drive to Bild, anytime a change is made to the folder or its contents in Google Drive, it will create a new commit in Bild with the new changes. Connect two of your most important tools and stay on top of your work, all from Bild!

Install the integration

Step 1: When you create a project in the workspace dashboard, click on Google Drive

Step 2: You will be redirected to a page where you can sign in and connect your Google account. Click on the correct work account if you have multiple

Step 3: Click on Allow to connect to your Google account

Step 4: You will be taken back to Bild where you can choose the Google Drive folder to sync with. Select a folder and click on Select

Step 5: Once you connect your Google Drive folder, Bild will automatically pull in the files. Depending on the size of the folder, it may take a few minutes to sync to Bild. You will be notified in the app and by email when it has been processed. If files are added, removed, or updated, Bild creates a commit automatically every 1 minute.

*Note: The naming convention of the commits in Bild are time based. Eg. 1-(08:45pm UTC) and Bild checks for new commits from Google Drive every 1 minute.
