Tracking and Managing Change Orders

After creating a Change Order (ECO) in Bild, you can easily track its progress, update details, and add additional files as needed. This guide will show you how to manage ECO information and maintain accurate documentation throughout the approval process.


Managing ECO Information & Fields

To update your ECO details:

  1. Navigate to the ECO from the “ECOs & Revs” icon in the left menu dock.

  2. Select the pencil icon next to any of the following fields to edit:

    • ECO ID

    • ECO Name

    • ECO Description

    • File Change Descriptions


Editing ECO Attributes

To edit or enter ECO attributes:

  1. Click the “Edit” button next to the Attributes section of the ECO.

  2. Update your attributes. You may be able to:

    • Select values from dropdown menus

    • Add file attachments

    • Enter text values

  3. Once done, click “Update” to save your changes.

The available attributes will depend on how your workspace administrator has configured ECO settings.

Adding Files to an Existing ECO

To include additional files in an active ECO:

  1. Open the “ECOs & Revs” page from the left menu dock.

  2. Select the ECO you want to modify.

  3. Click the “+ Add Files” button.

  4. Choose the file(s) you want to add.

  5. Click “Add” to include the files in your ECO.

👉 Note:
You can also select “Add Child Files” to view or include any relevant referenced child files.
