What are workspaces?
Workspaces are essentially folders that can be organized by project, customer, or product line for example. Settings regarding user permissions, workflows, and part numbering schema can vary across workspaces. Workspaces are also siloed, meaning files cannot be referenced across workspaces with the exception of the Design Library.
What is the Design Library?
The Design Library is a default workspace that exists for common components such as nuts, bolts, and screws. This is the only workspace in which files can be referenced by other workspaces freely.
What does your file structure currently look like?
Do you have any organizational structure in place for your files?
Any project or customer-specific folders can be transferred into their own workspace given that all necessary referenced files are present in the collection.
Do you have files that are shared across multiple projects?
If you don't want to go through the hassle of sifting out these files for use in the Design Library, we typically recommend that everything be added to one workspace to maintain references.
Do you maintain a folder for common components?
These files can be easily dropped into the Design Library with the same folder structure.

Pack and Go
When organizing your data, this or any similar bundling feature can be employed to gather all necessary referenced files. Keep in mind that duplicates can be created if there are files shared between multiple assemblies.
If you do choose to utilize this feature, we recommend that you don't add a prefix or suffix. This requires a separate workflow when uploading files in order to maintain references. Reach out to your support team if this is something you are interested in.
