New Admin Settings
Organization Level Permissions for Members
Admins can now grant specific organization settings to Members. This feature is located in User Management settings.
Prefer File Values On Upload
Click the pencil icon when hovering over Revision Number or Version Number fields within Metadata Settings to see the Prefer File Values On Upload option.
Toggling this feature on will enable Bild to read in existing revision or version numbers from your custom properties on upload of new files instead of beginning at the system default (- and 0 for revision and version number respectively).
Include All Drawings in Automations
A new setting has been added for admins in File Settings. If you have multiple drawings associated with a single CAD file, enabling Include All Drawings in Automations will include all of them in automatic metadata updates or when adding to an ECO. When disabled, only the drawing with the same name as the CAD file will be used in these automations.
Override Existing User Defaults
When changing settings in User Defaults, you'll see an option to Apply to all users to push changes to existing users and overwrite their current value.
Dashboard Layout Variants
In addition to the Default dashboard layout you are used to, you can choose between two new ones:
Default: Workspace list on the left and separate tabs for Feedback Items and Approvals
Split View: See Feedback Items and Approvals simultaneously
Workspace Focus: See the list of workspaces only
Admins can also set the default layout for all users in Default Settings.
File Viewer URL
Right click on a file in the web or desktop application and select Copy Viewer URL to obtain a browser link for opening the file in the 3D Viewer.
BOM Search, Edit, Export
Instead of using filters, you can now search the contents of a BOM and jump between results using the Find feature. This allows you to see the surrounding BOM information.
Other features include the ability to copy table cells without having to be in Edit mode as well as only appending the configuration to the file name during an export when there are multiple.
BOM Improvements
Bugs related to editing BOMs have been addressed. We have specifically deployed the following improvements...
Statuses now sync in real time when two users are viewing/changing a BOM approval window simultaneously
Editing metadata
Boolean fields previously unalterable are able to be properly edited
Incomplete list of nested select options has been resolved

Email notifications for updated ECO attributes have the affected name and value as expected
Workflows are no longer able to bypass metadata fields that are required for approval or release

Users can no longer link a released ECO
