Inventor Drawing Support
Bild is now able to support rendering Inventor drawing files (.idw) in the 3D Viewer. Refer to Supported File Formats for a complete list of accepted file formats, versions, and actions.
New Approval Features and Settings
A new admin setting called Require comment when rejecting an approval has been added in the Approvals tab. When enabled, users will be required to leave a message when choosing the Reject disposition.
Reviewers are prompted to add a comment on other dispositions. When a comment is left this way, the comment in the approval window will be tagged with the user's disposition. Additionally, there will now be a timestamp visible for when it was made.
External API
An endpoint has been added for use within the external API to retrieve file thumbnails. Visit bildexternalapi.portledocs.com for information on the API calls that are available.
Other Improvements
Users can set a due date for a feedback item during creation instead of having to navigate to the Kanban board to do so
The latest local Creo file is reliably opened when double-clicked from the desktop application
