When manually creating an approval on individual files, users can point to other files within the workspace that provide additional context to the approver without formally approving them. These can be drawings, specifications, or other supporting documentation.

Note: These files will not be included in the approval i.e., their Revision Status will remain as In Progress instead of In Review. Additionally, this feature is available only on file level approvals.

When a user is involved in multiple stages within an approval, they have the option to make an approval disposition for the current and all subsequent stages.

When creating an approval workflow, the option to set a relative due date has been added.

To help reduce manual efforts during data cleanup and migration (especially in multi-CAD environments), admins can now define alternate names for matching CAD properties. A setting has also been added to be able to preserve the existing name. When disabled, all properties will be mapped to the Field Name in the file information drawer.

Admins can create a metadata field with a Dynamic Value Type. It can be linked to Created At, Created By, Modified At, and Modified By values, which can be used to update drawing file title blocks to reflect who modified it last and when.

Users can exclude individual files from metadata write-back to preserve their existing CAD properties, such as legacy or customer-supplied files. This is managed from the metadata settings within the file's data card.

Previously, users would generate a BOM from an Excel file containing a high volume of items to then push to the vault instead of creating them one by one. Users can now upload the Excel file directly to the workspace to reduce manual efforts and avoid the latency involved when syncing to the vault. This option can be found when selecting Item from the + New dropdown.

The ability to delete multiple duplicate files directly from the Duplicate Files global admin or workspace setting has been introduced. The list also populates the Revision and Version Number for improved comparison.

Users now have the ability to pin filters so they persist when navigating between views and workspaces.

A new Feedback setting has been created to allow admins to set persistent feedback tags. This eliminates the previous need to type the tag each time.

Bugs related to the 3D Viewer have been addressed this month. Namely, stale content appearing when switching between files and annotations persisting onto new versions.

Additionally, it was reported that PDF exports were not rendering drawing graphics reliably. A fix has been implemented to resolve the appearance of excess borders.
