1. Click + New and create a new item.
2. Generate the part number using the Bild-managed part number generation or through any integrations if applicable. Then, click Create.
3. Copy and paste the part number from the item and use it as the file naming when saving a new CAD file to the local folder synced with Bild.
4. Before clicking up Upload when pushing the new file, select the item from the item dropdown to the right of the file name.
After clicking Upload, the CAD file will have a name corresponding to the part number that is also populated in the metadata field once paired with the item.
