Learn how to create, rename, and delete folders within your projects to keep your files organized and accessible.
Creating Folders
1. Navigate to the project and location where you want to create a new folder.
2. Click the +New button located in the upper-right corner.
3. Select the Folder option within the drop-down.
4. Enter the folder name in the prompt that appears.
5. Click Create to finalize.

Renaming Folders
1. Navigate to the folder you want to rename.
2. Right-click on the folder.
3. Select the Folder Actions option.
4. Click Rename Folder.
5. Enter the updated name.
6. Click Rename to apply the changes.
Auto Folder Creation
Bild now has a user level setting that will automatically create local folders that match your project structure in the cloud. You can keep your desktop environment perfectly in sync with Bild, improving navigation and ensuring files are always stored where you expect them to be.
1. In the Desktop Application navigate to your user settings in the upper-right corner.
2. Select Preferences from the menu on the left-hand side.
3. Select the check-box for 'Auto Create All Folders Locally (Desktop App).
4. Select Update in the bottom-right.
Deleting Folders
1. Navigate to the folder you want to delete.
2. Right-click on the folder.
3. Select the Folder Actions option.
4. Click Delete.
5. Type confirm to verify that you would like to delete the folder.
6. Click Delete to finalize.
Note: Deleting a folder will also remove all files within it. Be sure to verify the folder’s contents before proceeding with deletion.
