Pulling a Part Number

There are two workflows to pull a part number from Propel into Bild: 1) before pushing a design into Bild and 2) after pushing a design into Bild (and then optionally renaming the design file)

Pulling a part number before pushing a design into Bild

  1. First you will need to create an item

    1. Click on the "+New" button

    2. Click on "Item"

    3. On the popup, click on the Propel icon logo to generate a Part Number from Propel

    4. Select a category and fill out the required fields.

    5. Click on "Generate" after filling out the fields.

    6. The item will be populated with a Part Number, pulled from Propel and using the part numbering schema from Propel. Click on "Create" to create the item

  2. [Optional] Once the item is created, you can optionally rename your design file with the part number.

  3. Push the design file to the item

    1. Your new design file will have a "New" tag next to it

    2. Right click on it, and select "Push New Files"

    3. Click into the folder path on the popup screen to go to the file and then click on the "Select Item" dropdown

    4. Select the item number from before that you want to pair this file with, then click the "Upload" button.
