New Search Capabilities
Quick Filter
Utilize the Quick Filter tool added to the workspace project view to quickly search for key words or phrases within the current directory.
Global Search Enhancements
The URL obtained when right clicking on a file and selecting Copy Viewer URL (released in April 2026) can now be entered into the global search within Bild to launch the relevant file in the 3D Viewer.
Additionally, to improve clarity when using the global search function from the homepage, users are now only prompted to search within workspaces they have access to.
Initial Sync of Drawing File Metadata
Right click a file and select File Actions > Sync Drawing files metadata to copy the current metadata from a CAD file to its associated drawing. This is especially useful when uploading new drawings, as it transfers all existing CAD metadata without requiring users to make a trivial edit to it first.
New Admin Settings
Workflow-Only Approvals
An admin setting has been added to the Approvals tab called Only allow creating approvals through workflows. When enabled, users are not able to manually create approvals and must initiate them through an approved workflow. Manual approvals will still be allowed for BOMs since there is currently not an option for running a workflow on a BOM.
Viewer Data Export Permissions
Admins can now grant Viewers access to the Data Export organization setting, enabling them to download a list of all files within a specific workspace or files that have been released from a certain date as well as the relevant metadata. They must have access to a given workspace to perform these exports. This feature can be enabled in User Management settings.

Accuracy
Users are now prevented from making edits in the View Children Files dialogue of a locked file
Cost roll-up is calculated in all BOM structure types (i.e. Indented, Direct, and Parts Only)
BOM associations are reliably preserved when moved cross-project
Large batches of files (~1,000) are now shared completely with suppliers, with in-app notifications aggregated to improve user experience
Searchability and Visibility
When downloading from the Data Export setting, additional ECO data and file metadata is available (the releasedAt column has also been updated to be sortable)
Check-out/check-in buttons are showing reliably in the metadata card of local drawing files
Feedback items are appearing in the Kanban Board more consistently without having to refresh the page

Added a column for NetSuite sync status to the workspace project view
Added a new webhook for External API users to notify them when a file is released
