Creating A Workspace

  1. To create a workspace click the Create button on the browser dashboard under the Workspaces section

  2. Enter the workspace name and select Create

  3. Add any desired members to the workspace and assign with either Member of Viewer permissions

  4. Once all users are added click Done and the workspace will be created

All admins will automatically be added to all projects as editors. To learn more about user permissions and roles click here.


Workspace Pinning

Pinning your most frequently used workspaces makes them easily accessible on both the web and desktop app. Pinned workspaces will appear at the top of your workspaces list.

To pin a workspace, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to your Bild Dashboard.

  2. Hover over the workspace you want to pin.

  3. Click the star icon to pin the workspace.

πŸ’‘ Tip: You can also reorder your pinned workspaces by dragging and dropping them into your preferred order.

Deleting A Workspace

  1. Navigate to the Workspace you would like to delete

  2. Once in the project, click on the Settings icon on the left menu dock

  3. Click the Delete Workspace button on the upper right-hand corner

  4. Confirm the workspace name and select Delete


Adding/Removing Users from Workspaces

Adding users to a workspace in Bild is a quick and easy process. Follow these steps to add existing users to your workspace:

  1. Open the Bild browser and navigate to the workspace you want to add users to

  2. Click on the settings icon located on the left menu dock.

  3. Select the Users tab within the settings page

  4. Type in an existing user's name within the search bar. As you type, Bild will auto-suggest user accounts matching the text you have entered.

  5. Select an editor or viewer access level within the drop-down menu.

  6. Click on the Add button to complete the process. The user will now have access to the workspace.

All admins will automatically be added to all workspaces. This means that if a user is designated as an admin, they will have access to all workspaces within the organization by default.

Removing Users From A Workspace

  1. Open the Bild browser and navigate to the workspace where you'd like to remove users from

  2. Click on the Settings icon located on the left menu dock

  3. Select the Users tab within the settings page

  4. Navigate to the user's name by scrolling through the list

  5. Once the user is located select the x button on the user's row

  6. Confirm the user who you would like to remove by selecting Remove in the pop-up
