Bild now fully supports SolidWorks 2025 files, including metadata and viewer functionality. You can upload these files as usual - no setup required.

For existing SolidWorks 2025 files, simply check them out and check them back in to reprocess their metadata and render them in Bild’s viewer.

Bild now captures your last 20 searches, so you can quickly access the files you need. If you're searching within a project, you’ll only see results from that project. If you search from the Projects Dashboard, you’ll see search history across all projects.

Users can now customize how projects are displayed, whether you prefer a default hierarchy, a flat view, or a custom filters. You can apply filters based on existing metadata properties and even set your view to start from a specific folder - giving you complete control over how you work. Manage and share views in Project Settings so your team stays aligned.

You asked, we delivered! Now users can generate JT and X_T files right from Bild, you can generate file formats from a file’s datacard or while exporting a BOM.

We’ve upgraded our Supplier Portal and Shared Links feature to give you better control over what gets shared. You can now limit access to native files, universal formats, or both. When sharing universal formats, you can generate STEP, STL, JT, or X_T files for vendors and suppliers - all in just a few clicks.
